A New Prescription for Georgia & Florida Avenues

Georgia & Florida Avenues

After months of sitting empty, the recently renovated building at Georgia and Florida Avenues now sports a few building permit in its window.  The plumbing permit #P1002466 issued on February 16, 2010, suggests that a drugstore may be moving in:

TENANT FIT-OUT FOR PHARMACY SPACE. NO EXTERIOR IMPROVEMENTS. SEE DRAWINGS FOR COMPLETE SCOPE.

Maybe the CVS diagonally across the intersection is relocating or maybe they’re simply getting more competition.

  2. I was hoping for something bougie like a restaurant or cafe. I guess we’ll have to settle for hairspray and prescription meds instead.

  3. I saw that notice the other day. I am very disappointed. Some weeks back an article on the PoP said the developer was holding out for a “high class” tenant. It was suggested the developer was looking for something like Niketown to occupy the building. I’ll be interested to see what actually moves in.

  4. i mean, hell, this started out to be rumored as a fatburger, so who knows where the merry-go-round will actually stop.
